Marc Soustrot, Conductor
Reviews
Tvära Kast Utan Ryckighet
Sydsvenskan (Sweden), 18 September 2010
"Marc Soustrot improves something that is already unique, which is quite risky. Instead he reduces the unequal expressions of the orchestra in a musically capturing and entertaining journey, which makes me forget about the flaws of the acoustics and gives me bright hopes for the future."

Kvällen Var Orkesterns
Kvällsposten (Sweden), 17 September 2010
"The conductor Marc Soustrot triumphed and so did Malmö Symphony Orchestra and their concertmaster."

A Solid Mahler Interpretation
Skånska Dagbladet, 10 February 2010
Marc Soustrots interpretation of this Mahler Symphony at the concert Thursday with Malmö Symphony Orchestra was among the most intelligent and solid interpretations I have ever heard. He balanced with the greatest of ease between sentimentality and irony all the while accentuating the sugar sweet but not forgetting the derisive laughter. The handling of the orchestra was masterly filled with excess and control in the smallest details.
It was Marc Soustrot´s second concert within a short period of time with Malmö Symphony Orchestra. The chemistry seems to be functioning well and not many conductors can lead the orchestra to such a great lenght.
